Strong Chamber, Strong Community
The Chamber is setting a new standard for growth and progress by creating a uniquely professional Chamber building at one of the most prominent areas in our community. At the July 2017 Chamber Board of Directors meeting, the Board voted to approve a Building Capital Campaign with a goal of $600,000 to fund the construction of the building. And, at the January 2018 Chamber Board of Directors meeting, the Board voted and approved to move forward with construction of the new Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce building.
Funds raised during the Capital Campaign will be used to help build the new facility, to be located at the current Chamber location of 101 South Beaty Street in Athens. The new building will offer much needed office/meeting space, allow room for growth, provide updated technology & resources, and provide an opportunity to house other organizations in the community sharing the same mission and vision of the Chamber and the future of our community.
The Chamber Board of Directors and the Building Committee have worked diligently to design and create an economical and efficient building that will magnify the importance of our organization to the community. We need your commitment to take our Chamber to the next level. Your assistance in the campaign will show our strength of community as we move forward. Your commitment will impact the future of the Chamber.
